Hi, I’m Vlad – and here’s the story of the Good Luck Puppy
I’ve been telling stories in cartoons and books for years, but Good Luck Puppy began with a personal realization. I wanted to give my kids advice they could carry with them forever – simple truths about kindness, friendship, and how a little bit of luck often comes from helping others.
The first Puppy was a small clay figurine I made for fun in 1998. Over time, I noticed that whenever it was nearby, good things seemed to happen. Friends wanted their own. Soon, Puppy became a symbol – a reminder that even on “bad haircut days,” you can still make someone’s day better.
Today, Good Luck Puppy is reimagined for kids ages 3–8, in bright, playful stories where kindness is the greatest adventure. Through books, activities, and classroom kits, Puppy’s message is reaching homes, schools, and libraries around the world.
